Felix - Japanese Seersucker
The Felix is The Long Shot Exp.'s original silhouette. The first shape we built, back in 2015. Six-panel construction, short brim - its DNA somewhere between LL Cool J circa 1985 and Hunter S. Thompson. Street corner and open road, depending on the day.
This iteration is Japanese seersucker. A fabric with a longer history than most - originating in colonial India, named by Persian traders who called it shir o shekar, milk and sugar, for the way it alternates between smooth and gritty in the hand. Two warps on the loom at different tensions produce the signature puckering. It's not a wrinkle, it's a weaving method. The fabric is designed to look exactly like this.
Lightweight and breathable by construction. The puckered surface sits away from the skin, allowing air to move. It dries fast, travels well, and requires nothing from you in terms of maintenance or explanation.
Available in two sizes - Medium (58cm) and Large (60cm) - or custom size. Leave size via a note at checkout.
