When originally planning the Marvin this was how we imagined it, an outdoor classic recreated with a "luxury" twist. While sampling I got seduced by the bright colours so that's what came out first but I'm really glad to see the original idea realised.
The shell is 6oz 'Antique' waxed cotton from British Millerain of Rochdale, England. The lining is a 'warp knitted' polyester micro fleece, woven in Nottingham, and the peak is reinforced with a wire insert. An elastic shock-cord allows adjustment of size right around the head, making it a ‘one size fits all’ hat that does actually fit (almost) everyone comfortably. Following our mantra of ‘Aesthetics over Athletics’ we’ve even kept those little loops on the earflap which seemingly serve no other purpose than to look really tech and cool.
Because we're so nice, we opening up a couple of options for anyone who'd like to tweak the style. If you'd like to move the position of the label or change to our square label, drop us a line. Also, if you'd like the shock-cord in black, white or white flecked, get in touch.
